Phish bingo
Rules
Fill a card with 16 songs before showtime. The band decides the rest.
Your card
A card is a 4×4 grid of 16 songs, no repeats. Build it any time after the previous show ends. Submissions close at showtime or when the first song of the show is reported, whichever comes first.
A card that is not full when submissions close does not enter. It still shows on your show page, but it does not score.
Bonus calls
You can also call the show opener, the Set 2 opener, and the encore. Each call has to be a song already on your card, and each is worth a point if the band plays it in that slot.
Matching
Phingo follows the live setlist as it is reported and marks your squares while the show is still going. A song counts once, no matter how many times the band plays it.
Phingos
Four matched squares in a row make a Phingo. There are ten lines on a card: four rows, four columns, and both diagonals. You keep playing after your first one — every line you complete counts, and a square can belong to more than one.
Scoring
| What | Points |
|---|---|
| Each matched song | 1 |
| Each completed line | 5 |
| Each correct call | 1 |
A card where every song hits, every line completes, and all three calls land is worth 69 points. Nobody has done it.
How that adds up
Three cards partway through a show. Shaded squares are matched songs. Solid squares are part of a completed line.
Six of your songs turn up, scattered across the card.
6 songs
6 points
Seven hit, and four of them fill a row. That row is a Phingo.
7 songs + 1 line
12 points
A row and a column both complete, and your encore call lands.
10 songs + 2 lines + 1 call
21 points
Squares in a line score twice over: once as matched songs, once as the line they complete.
